As requested by the Thursday night skipper, I will open up next season's frivolities to a wider audience once again.
Dates are yet to be finalised but England are due to host West Indies and South Africa next summer for test series and also the afore mentioned teams plus Australia for ODI series.
Headingley is obviously the ideal ground of choice for locality. They are pencilled in for an ODI against West Indies (in early summer) and a test match against South Africa later in the summer.
One test match and a T20 versus the Windies and one test match against South Africa are yet to be allocated.
All the venues for the 5 ODI's against the Aussies are also still not finalised.
Most of the test grounds/clubs have not been in contact with regard to next summer and beyond yet, but as I have bought tickets to all English test grounds in the very recent past, I expect they will be.
However, I have received bumf from Durham CCC through the post today concerning pre general sale ticket priority for the 2012 ODI versus Australia (some time in July), as I have bought tickets for Durham before too. I can buy tickets for this game NOW and believe it or not, also for the Ashes test match in 2013!!!!
THE ODI NEXT SUMMER WILL SELL OUT QUICKLY AS THE CAPACITY IS ONLY 17,000. I HAVE UNTIL AUGUST 15TH BEFORE THEY GO ON GENERAL SALE. I can get a maximum of 6 (of which 2 will be mine). Should anybody wish to attend, they are £42 each. I will buy on a first come, first serve basis.
I realise the Ashes test match is over 2 years away yet but I will also be purchasing myself the maximum allowance of 4 (again 2 of which will be mine). These tickets are £55 each and again, if anybody is interested. I will take names on here.
I will post Headingley details for 2012 and/or any Headingley Ashes activity as and when they become available.
Regards Mr Chair

A cool £550 spent on 10 Durham Ashes test tickets spanning 3 days! And a further £252 on 6 ODI tickets for next summer If I don't get takers here. Barmy Army members will defo have them........ Because you were too busy rattling on about your diet, we didn't get chance to discuss ticket purchases last weekend! It seems we didn't need to anyway, pencil me in sir for at least next summers outing.

Hi Mr Chair,
Will be happy to take some tickets of your hands for next year etc.
Me and Dick are still hoping to attend on the 1st July, tickets pending, so let us know the plans for getting there and back etc even if you are lucky enough for us to be sat no where near you.#

I shall deffo be attending headingly on the 1st July as the course I mentioned has Been cancelled! Also a pencil in for an ashes ticket please ;D Are we taking the train to headingly?? Skip and all. I will send an email to the relevant people too. I have taken the liberty into looking at transport to The White Shite and back for said July 1st outing. I was pleasantly surprised to find return tickets on the train for a mere £9.80 each. Not wanting to miss the opportunity and risk the price going up, I have booked 5 return tickets to be sent to my house in the next 5 days. Journey 1: HOWDEN to The White Shite Travel on Friday 01 July 2011 returning on Friday 01 July 2011 Departs Arrives By Reservations 09:28 - Howden 09:38 - Selby Train (NORTHERN RAIL) No seats reserved. 09:43 - Selby 10:19 - The White Shite Train (NORTHERN RAIL) No seats reserved. 21:12 - The White Shite 21:43 - Howden Train (TRANSPENNINE EXPRESS) No seats reserved. As you can see from the above we may miss the first few overs(play starts at 10:45) getting from the train station to Headingley by joe baxi. Also, that was the latest train to get back. If we are still capable, we could have a few in Howden to finish the evening off......

This site is intelligent and automatically changes it ;D !

A f*****g walk up to the station!!! We gotta be there for 09:28!!! You seem to forget I know Ice.......I seem to recall him not being capable of getting himself to the end of his street to get on the bus previously If however that is the chosen method of travel then I will be leaving in plenty of time. The last thing I want is to start a very long day with a sweat on!!
