Chaps, as you all maybe aware, we have a fixture problem on 2nd July when we play Hornsea at home which clashes with Howden Show. Damo, I see we also play at home v Outcasts on the Thursday prior to this, by which time the field will be covered in tents. It has been suggested to me that we may be able to play on Barmby's new ground on that / those dates. This sounds good to me, but can I have some feedback from others before I make further contact with them. Failing this, we need to find another date to fulfil this fixture, and it looks like it may have to be a Sunday! Cheers.

Hi,
I will speak to the Outcasts regards playing at their ground and i have no problem playing at Barmby sounds a damn good idea to me.
Dick I will be down at about 12pm to 12.30pm although unsure yet as we are preparing the feast of a cricket tea.
I have the keys if anybody wants to get in prior to me arriving.

I like this new regime of organisation. What with pre match day team selections, pre match day summons' for wicket prep, re-jigging of the tea supplies rota (in advance) and plans afoot for moving a fixture location 2 months before said fixture date!!! It's like a proper club.........it'll never catch on
